Learn The Perks Of A Prepaid Credit Card
My friends used to joke around about racing cars when we grow up. Ever since we watched car racers on ESPN, both I and my friend would spend countless hours attempting to mimic those commentators whenever we have the time to watch a racer sports show.
Years later, now that I have grown up, I still remember those times. That’s probably one of the reasons why I have bought my own car. And to tell you frankly, my driving skills do not pass the F1 series competitions. Oh well, it’s nice dreaming about it, right?
Seriously though, we don’t have to talk about my racing dream here. Instead, I’m going to share with you my experiences on owning a car and how was it dealing with the higher gas prices.
Since gas prices became higher every day, I never had the opportunity to do other things because of money. Because I am just a student, most of my resources are limited. I can’t go to faraway places for my school projects and interviews because my car doesn’t have enough gas to travel. Even if I save up money from the part time job that I earned, it still is not enough for me.
Fortunately, one of my close friends recommended me to avail for a prepaid student credit card. At first, I was confused because a credit card requires me to pay for bills ever month. I can barely get enough money for gas, let alone money to pay for a credit card bill. However, my friend says that a prepaid student credit card is not like those typical credit cards that you know.
To answer all those confusions inside my head, he said that a prepaid credit card is not a credit card at all, since there is no credit offered by the card user. A student who owns a prepaid credit card can spend the money which has been stored through a depositor or someone else, like your parents or a relative. The only thing that is different is that it bears a credit-card brand such as Visa or Master Card. This type of card can be used in similar regular credit cards.
Now, you might wonder: how do I use this prepaid student credit card? It’s very simple. Once you purchase your own card, you can load it with an amount of money, and use it to purchase things just like a typical credit card.
A prepaid student credit card can be availed by any student: teenagers to college students. It can also be used for online transactions. After finally explaining its benefits, I decided to give it a try and to my surprise, it works perfectly for me! So if you want to go anywhere without bringing any money, use a prepaid credit card. I swear, you’ll thank me for it later on.
